The Allen Pearson Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that was organized by members of the Lenoir County community who were friends and family of Detective Allen Pearson. We are fully recognized as by the North Carolina and the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(C)(3) organization.
Our logo represents
everything and everyone this foundation stands for: law enforcement, fire departments, and
emergency medical services. It also
bears the date Allen made the ultimate sacrifice, April 8, 2009 and his call
sign, LC 105. “WE REMEMBER” is displayed
on the seal to always remind everyone that his died serving others just as all
emergency service personnel do each day.
But it doesn’t stop there. We
will also serve the workers who give their time to those departments. Our plans extend far beyond the Lenoir County
lines and departments. We already have
big plans to give back to many departments that have already helped us get this
foundation started.”
The Board of Directors is dedicated to organizing events to
raise money to return to emergency service departments through the purchase of
needed equipment or training. In
addition, we have committed ourselves to offering support to families of
officers, deputies, troopers, firefighters, paramedics and other emergency
services workers who are killed in the line of duty.
We thank all our dedicated supporters, financial sponsors and friends for your
continued support through all our endeavors and look forward to serving those
who protect you each day.
